McKay’s is a small niche practice and we intend to stay as a small niche practice.
When we look for new members of staff we are careful to ensure that any potential staff member can adapt smoothly to the office dynamic. The office is a very relaxed place to be, however we work very hard and obtain very good results for our clients.
We do not care where you went to school, what University you went to or what classification of degree you obtained. We are interested in what you can bring to the practice as an individual and as a member of the team. We set very high standards for our staff and have equally high expectations of them. We encourage development from within and will always consider making awards to staff for relevant development, training and education.
Our staff are very important to us. They are the only resource we have, accordingly we try to treat them very well. We pay above average salaries, offer excellent holidays (6-7 weeks per year) and private health insurance. We have flexible working conditions and excellent coffee.
We encourage individuality and believe that by operating in an open, collegiate, non-hierarchical environment, we will get the best from our staff and our staff will, in return, be productive and happy in their work. This may be viewed as an unusual approach for a law firm but we find it is working very well for us. We are absolutely committed to equality of opportunity for all. We insist on a similar commitment from our staff.
Our client base is growing continually and as a consequence we are expanding. If you think that you have something different to offer a law firm that is a little bit different then contact Adam Mckay or Paul Richardson for an informal no-obligation discussion.
